The world famous British Fireworks Championships is returning to Plymouth’s Waterfront on 9 - 10 August 2017. We are perfectly located for great views of this spectacular two-day event. Thousands of spectators are expected to gather at Plymouth Hoe and the surrounding area to witness the pyrotechnic wizardry of the renowned championships.
Six companies will compete for the championship title over two evenings and the displays are guaranteed to be incredible. In 2016 more than four tonnes of fireworks were set off over Plymouth Sound. The first display starts as dusk falls, however entertainment including live music, refreshment stalls and rides will start from around 6pm.
We are fortunate to be situated close to Staddon Heights Golf Club which offers unrivalled views of Plymouth Sound and the spectacular firework display. Alternatively, if you want to get in on the action, we are just a short drive away from the Hoe, the Barbican and Sutton Harbour.
This is a sight that cannot be missed!
